Wednesday, June 21, 2017

       

              3:00 pm       Arrive at the Stake Center 

              3-4:30 pm    Split into Families and pack trailers.  
              4:30 pm.      Depart

              9:30 pm       Arrive at Trek

              9:30-10:30   Set up camp at Iowa City.  Eat nachos and veggies
             10:30-11.     Family prayer and scriptures in families

             11:00 pm      Bedtime

            Thursday, June 22, 2017

7-8 am           Breakfast at Iowa City-pancakes and eggs
8-9:30 am      Family Flags and pack for departure (last shoe and water check)
                      Clean Camp
9:30-10 am    Group Orientation (missionaries)
10-10:30 am  Trail Boss Message (Fire of the Covenant-President Ballard)

            10:30 am        Depart

           10:30-11 am   Trek to Ash Hollow (2 miles) (Family Activities on the way)

           11-11:30 am    Vignette #1 (Ash Hollow)

           11:30-12 pm    Sack Lunch 

           12-2 pm          Trek to Red Butte (3 miles) (Family activities on the way)

            2-3:30pm       Rope pull (begun by Vignette #2)

            3:30-4 pm      Letters and possibly Ice Cream from Bro Newell

            4-6 pm           Snack, set up tents, games, relax and visit
            6-7 pm.          Dinner
            7-9 PM.          Dance-President Coffey
            9-10 PM.        Family Scriptures and Prayer
            10 pm.            Bedtime

            Friday, June 23, 2017

7-8 am            Breakfast-Sausage and Biscuits
8-8:30 am.      Pack for departure and break camp
8:30-8:50 am. Prayer, song and spiritual message before departure
8:50-9 am       Shoes and water check
9-10 am          Trek to Martin's Cove (2 miles) (Family Activities on the Way)
10-10:30 am   Vignette #3 at Martin's Cove
10:30-11:30.    Trek to lunch (1 mile) (Family activities on the way)
11:30-12:30.    Sack Lunch
12:30-2:30      Trek to Rocky Ridge (3 miles) (Family activities on the way)
2:30-3 pm       Vignette #4 at Rocky Ridge (Ellie and Jens Nielsen-McLeish)

            3-4:30 pm       Trek to Lookout Mountain (2 miles) (Family activities on the way)

            4:30-6pm        Dinner at Lookout Mountain-Pulled Pork
            6-8 pm            17 Miracles

            8-9 pm            Set up tents, relax and visit

            9-10 pm.         Family Scriptures and Prayer
            10 pm.            Bedtime

            6-7 am            Breakfast-panckaes and eggs

            7-7:15 am       Pack for departure (last shoe and water check), Clean Camp

            7:15-8:30 am  Trek to Women's Pull (2 miles) (Family Activities on the way)
            8:30-8:45 am  Vignette #5 at Women's Pull
            8:45-10 am.    Women's Pull and Rest Time, background violin

            10-11:30 am.   Trek to River Crossing (2 miles), (Family Activities on the way)
            11:30-11:45.    Vignette #6 at River Crossing
            11:45-1 pm.     River Crossing and Trek to Zion (1 mile) (Family Activities on the way)
            1-1:30 pm        Lunch
            1:30-3:30 pm.  Testimonies (instruct on testimonies)
            3:30-4 pm        Unpack carts, clean up, prepare to leave, check out
            4 pm                 Depart
            8:30 pm            Meet parents at Stake Center
