By Tuesday, June 20th, Check-in must be completed
Check-in will be arranged and coordinated by the individual ward and branch youth leaders. Please make sure you know the date and time you will be checking in.Note to leaders: All youth and leaders attending trek must have all equipment checked in at their local ward or branch buildings no later than Tuesday, June 20th.
Again, please coordinate with your ward leaders to know the date and time of your check-in. Trek leaders from each unit will be in charge of bringing all equipment to the Stake Center @ 3:00 pm Wednesday, June 21st to be loaded on the trailer(s).
These are the things that will be inspected and checked at Check-in:
1. Each Bucket & Lid – Mark Trekker's First and Last Name printed clearly with a sharpie or other permanent marker on the inside of lid and on outside of the bucket.
2. Each Sleeping bag and small pillow - put in a large plastic garbage bag, that is securely closed. Mark outside of garbage bag with duct tape with trekker's First & Last Name written with permanent marker.
3. With the Trekker's help, inspect bucket contents to insure all needed items are packed, and that no restricted items were accidently included ;-) (electronics, etc). Use Trek clothing/equipment list.
4. If any items are missing, please have Trekker get them BEFORE packing it to bring to the Stake Center. It would be very difficult to unpack then repack once the equipment is at Stake Center and packed on the trailer.
**Please remind Trekkers to wear 1 set of Trek clothes & shoes
AND bring their water bottle on Wednesday, June 21st to the Stake Center
